Fall Season: Time and Location

U7 Season is here. U7 Co-ed and U7 all girls teams play on Sunday Sept. 8th-Nov. 3rd

We play inside the Pine Banks track field, located at corner of Sylvan St. and Main St. in Melrose.
There is parking lot located at the field. You must park in a marked space. There is no parking along the fence or on the grass. You will be towed. There is additional parking on Sylvan St. and an additional lot entrance on Sylvan St. just past the baseball field.

Co-ed team plays 9:00-10:30 every week.
U7 Girls only team plays 10:30-12 each week.

FALL SEASON IS COMING SEPTEMBER 8

Hi Everyone,

We are preparing for the fall soccer season. Hopefully the weather is much better than it was this spring!!!

Our season will run for 9 weeks.  September 8th - November 3rd.

You will need:

#3 soccer ball (most appropriate for this age)
Shin pads  (these are required, no exceptions)
Sneakers or Cleats (cleats are not required)

We will have uniforms for your child on the first day, but have them wear comfortable clothes for that first day and appropriate for the weather there after.

You will have your schedule and team color, the week before we start.

There is still time to register for U7. If you have not done so, now is the time to do it.

Fall Registration is Open

FALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. IF YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD IS GOING TO PLAY IN THE FALL PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.   IF THERE IS A SPECIFIC TEAM, COACH, OR FRIEND THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO PLAY WITH, PLEASE ADD THAT TO THE COMMENT SECTION WHEN REGISTERING. I WILL DO MY BEST TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR REQUEST.

U7 Spring Season Reminders-Session/Pictures/Field Day

Some quick reminders:

Picture Day is moved to June 2 (due to rain) your schedule will be emailed to you. 

We will NOT be playing on Memorial Day Weekend. Have fun with your family!!

We ARE extending the season for one week. Our last day will Sunday June 16th (yes Father's Day) and we will end the season with Pizza, slush and bouncy house. 

Please do not park along the fence or on any grass spot at Pine Banks. You must be in a marked spot. There is parking on Sylvan St. also, and there is a large back lot with entrance on Sylvan St. You will risk being towed and there is nothing we will be able to do about it. 

WE WILL PLAY March 3, 2019

Hello Parents,

The town has contacted us and is willing to have the Salemwood school open tomorrow for soccer. If you would like to join us, we will be there.

U7 Soccer Schedule reminders

Hello Parents/Coaches,

Just a reminder that we will play every Sunday until March 17th, this includes this coming Sunday February 17.

Also, if you know that your child plans to play in the Spring, registration is already open. Do not wait until the last minute as the teams fill up and you will not be able to request certain coaches/teams etc. I do my best to fill requests but if it is last minute, I cannot guarantee it.

Soccer Cancelled for today Sunday Jan 20

Hello Parents/Guardians/Coaches,

Location and Time:

Winter session is upon us. Our first week starts this Sunday the 20th. We will play at the Salemwood School Gym which is located behind the school, 529 Salem St. Malden, MA. Teams will be emailed to you on Thursday before start date. Please note we have less children during winter soccer and less coaches to help out. Please consider volunteering, we need your help. Please note if you requested a certain team or coach and did not get it, it is because that coach or team is not available this session. Please make the request again for Spring.

What players should wear:

-Players should wear comfortable clothes, we will use pinnies for Winter program. They will not have uniforms.
-Players must have shin pads. They will not be allowed to play without them.
-Players can wear sneakers or turf shoes. No cleats for winter soccer.
-Please do not wear watches, jewelry, or baseball hats
-Please bring a size 3 soccer ball for practice
-Players should bring a water bottle each week

You can always come back to the blogger for updates on cancellations due to weather. Field schedules will also be posted here as well as being emailed to you.
